If you’re a lover of old stones, you won’t be disappointed. The Bergerac area – and more widerly the Périgord – is overflowing with châteaux, monuments and tourist sites, as well as villages full of character, caves and prehistoric shelters.

Succumb to the charm of the magnificent gardens, whether modern, themed or hanging

Gastronomes, delight in the local produce: strawberries, walnuts, foie gras and truffles await you at the traditional and summer markets or at the producers themselves.

As for sports enthusiasts, there’s a whole range of activities on offer: cycling on the V91 voie verte, hiking, golf, canoeing on the Dordogne or Vézère rivers.

And after a day rich in discovery, enjoy a well-deserved rest in your gîte or guest room. or tree house.

Castles

It is said that there would be 1001 castles in the Périgord ! Difficult to be sure about it, but since the 12th century they are fully part of the Périgord heritage.

Gastronomy

You will enjoy tasting Pécharmant, Bergerac & Rosette Wines by the wine producers close to our property : Château de la Renaudie , La Vieille Bergerie, Château de Corbiac or Domaine de Grand Jaure

Many gourmet markets will allow you to taste our local cheeses like Cabécou or Trappe d’Echourgnac, foie gras, nuts and of course the different varieties of strawberries from May to October.
